     *Yang Yoga      ~ YinYoga        YinYang Yoga  

*Bikram Style

Bikram Yoga is a challenging series of 26 postures performed in a heated room to scientifically warm and stretch ligaments, tendons and muscles. This allows the body to systematically move fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to healthy working order. The temperature is 105F degrees and about 40% humidity. The room is kept at this temperature for the following reasons:

A regular practice will tone, de-stress and detoxify the body; Increase stamina, strength and flexibility. Get you in the best shape of your life!

 

* ChiYoga

This is a specialty class taught only by Ping. She combines Tai Chi and Hatha Yoga in a hot room. Classes are a blend of Yin and Yang, Tai Chi and Yoga, Beauty and Strength, Serenity and Power. The two opposing, yet complementary, qualities of Ying and Yang are brought into one practice to help you develop strength, poise, balance and harmony. A class not to be missed. Ping is a Master!

Restorative yoga is supported poses and breathing techniques that bring the body and mind to a state of stillness and healing. Using conscious relaxation and props this class helps to access your own inner resources. This practice sometimes referred to as “hip and shoulder” holds postures for 3-4 minutes promoting conscious breathing that deepens into an overall sense of well-being. You’ll discover this class supports and accelerates your overall yoga practice in a profound way.
The body's natural state is to be relaxed. It is only through the busyness of our lives that we tend to forget. By learning how to relax and breathe deeply, we possess the keys to health, vitality and inner peace.

 

YinYang Yoga is a combination of all our classes. Yang Yoga works the muscle groups increasing strength, stamina and flexibility

while a yin class works deep into the connective tissue and bone restoring youthful agility and health.

The YinYang class is a perfect way to work deep and strong while balancing and healing all the systems of the body.

 

 *Vinyasa Flow

Gena teaches Vinyasa Flow focusing the awareness on conscience breathing to create a slow, yet challenging class. 

She emphasizes core strength to build endurance while finding the balance between effort and surrender.

Gena encourages her students to be patient, compassionate and to be present in the unfolding of each moment.

She has been inspired by many teachers including

Ana Forrest, Paul Grilley, Sandy Blaine and Shannon Wells.

 

 

 *Vinyasa Power Flow

Power yoga is a vigorous, fitness-based approach to Vinyasa Flow Yoga with an emphasis on stamina, strength and flexibility.

 

*Bikram Style Quiet Class dates to be announced......

 

The same Bikram style postures in a quiet yoga class. Silence leads you deeper into your practice by connecting your mind, body & spirit in a profound way.

Robin prompts you in and out of each pose while allowing a deep sense of personal connection to be achieved. You will love this class! 4 previous Bikram classes required.

 

 

*Kids Yoga  

 

Taught by our kids specialist Kim Stanford. Kim's been teaching young children for over 10 years and loves the interaction, fun and pleasure children bring.

This class is for kids 4-8 with some parent participation for fun and bonding. It teaches balance, concentration and understanding of yoga. A Great class for development of young bodies & minds.

You and your young children will love this class and Kim is a blast!
